The year is 2004 and the place is Fedje, an isolated island community in Western Norway. Invisus rejects the confines of normal island life and begins to craft his characteristically misanthropic black metal sound. With some murky themes and heavy captivating riffs, one man band Blodhemn is now a reality. Three winters on, the demo “Logical Madness” saw the light of day. This came during a brief flirtation with more death / thrash type sounds and today Invisus describes the release as “immature”. In 2008 Invisus moved to the city of Bergen and began the painful process of putting together his live band. Now with the passage of time and some competent live performers at his side, Blodhemn will emerge from the shadows. The mini-album “Brenn alle Bruer” (Burn All Bridges) was released in July 2010.
