Eline Thorp is a young artist from the tiny island community of Hamarøy in the far North of Norway. In terms of a musical CV, this 17 year old can report a slot at Kjerringråkk festival in Bodø, backing vocals for local superstars Kråkesølv and a support slot with PELbO. She herself compares her sound to Regina Spektor, Ingrid Olava, Moddi and perhaps Kråkesølv. For her recent X Rockeklubb show in Bodø, the promoter wrote this: "There’s something rather mystical about Eline Thorp, but in a rather beautiful way. She’s appeared out of nowhere and her show at Kjerringråkk in April, she surprised everyone. The audience stood transfixed, she took the stage by storm with her music sending shivers down the spine. This young lady has a unique voice and we at XRK are convinced that she will be the saviour of us all.
