Samling is a new band from Stockholm, consisting of Max Grundmann, Petter Karlsson, Victor Hvidfeldt, Lise-Lotte Wennerstrand, Tobias Öhman, Erik Sainz and Karl Johan Liljeberg. They play hot progressive psychedelica, a mixture of a Swedish prog rock, The Brian Jonestown Massacre and The Soundtrack Of Our Lives. According to “Språktidningen” the cocky language costume is on the way back, but in urban hipsterpossen it is still humility, lowered shoulders and a beard which is the national dress. Combined with the good tradition of knowledge, solid craftsmanship and a willingness to advance and change what previous generations passed on the bet and lost in. Everything in order, that is. Love. Nice atmosphere. Empathy. Sincerity. Greatness and failings naked in full figure. A bit of humor. References to both the late seventies prog rock as the contemporary long-haired hippie Swedish exports can be made, moreover it is not a completely inexperienced company that collected during this epithet. But as Bridget Trotzig said: “treat me as dead”. It is the artwork, not the artist, who is in our parks glow. The bikes spinning, circles opens and closes and opens again. Only the figures that are new or old. The country now penetrates the town. The sun gives us energy on the other Long, the drinking freshly pressed wheat grass juice on Skånegatan and the cultivation of cannabis in Luleå municipal rebates. Feedback is here not an appraisal with the boss without Wahwah guitars which ornamented the sunset last rays over an oat field in the southeast.
