Tôg are a rare beast. Electro, inspired by a mix of horror movies, film noir and westerns isn’t a genre that often pops up on Norway’s musical landscape. More so so a seven-piece comprised of Stavanger exiles, and even rarer still a band with Tôg’s conceptual backdrop. In their Stavanger dialect, the sins of the Tôg are confessed to the masses and thus one comes to understand the choice of moniker. As the listener’s barriers fall, and they allow themselves to be challenged, then they come to understand that this is pop music at its best.
