“Even though I’m risking sounding like I just had kids, or am in Oasis, I still want to say that “Current Affair Medium Rare” is one of the best records in ages. It is true, really! I don’t want to try and describe my music with words or references, I want the songs to be able to speak for themselves. But I can sat this: I have tried to summarize the album in the title. What I’m really hoping for is that the album will serve as a friend, a comfort and as an escape. I started making music around six years or so ago. I can hardly remember it, but I sold lots of demos online. I recorded an E.P. while I was waiting for some money that never came. Which was probably a good thing in the long run, because I had to learn to do things for myself. “Top Quality Bones and a Little Terrorist” came out in 2006, a totally home made recording. “Kill Hollywood Me” followed in 2008, this time recorded in a real studio, which was a completely different experience and a revelation in itself. I like my first two records. They’re not just beautiful on their own, but also the reason that I was now able to do “Current Affair Medium Rare”." - Britta Persson
