Poporn Radio are an up and coming band from Nøtterøy, just outside Tønsberg. The band are now taking things up a level and beginning to receive wider recognition for their efforts having played Musikkfest Oslo and Slottsfjell this past summer. Poporn Radio fit into the musical landscape somewhere between hip-hop and pop, terrain shared with the likes of Paperboys, LidoLido and Madcon. Their hip-hop infused pop tunes are characterized by rhythm, romance and lyrical intensity. All their tracks are written, arranged and produced themselves, together with their secret weapon, DJ Loco Motive. Likewise the tunes are all recorded in their very own Crib In The Snow recording studio in the forest just outside Tønsberg. Throughout 2010 Poporn radio ran their on club night “Features” down in Tønsberg, which has featured guest appearances from rising stars Son of Light and El Axel. At ‘Features" clubbers enjoy and uncompromising energy, soft melodies and massive basslines and drums. Its shamelessly catchy pop, its porno, and it wouldn’t surprise us if it took over your radio.
