For the majority of the noughties Ludwig Bell has been synonymous with Dreamboy, the band he played in with Fredrik Swahn. They released their debut to critical acclaim in 2007 and featured Annika Norlin (Hello Saferide) as a guest vocalist on one of the tracks. The favour was returned with a duet taht featured on her breakthrough album of the same year. In 2008 their little label went bust and the band was put on ice. Fredrik Swahn went off on tour with Anna Järvinen and Hello Saferide, whilst Ludwig began to work on his own material, his first in Swedish. In 2010 Ludwig released his debut solo album, recorded with Swahn on production duties. The record entitled “Jag Har Försökt Förklara” is wall to wall straightforward, great pop songs that touch on politics, love, childhood, Stockholm and how to say sorry.
