Rikke Lie is a 24 year old singer / songwriter from Ålesund in Western Norway. She has an extraordinary flair for catchy and achingly beautiful pop songs and has already been described as Melissa Horn meets Melody Gardot meets Colby Caillat.
Her debut L.P. “Short Stories” was produced by Lisa Ekdahl’s legendary producer Peter Nordahl, who assembled a host of Sweden’s most talented musicians including The Gothenburg Symphonic amongst others in Stockholm’s renowned Atlantist Studio taking the project to a whole new level. The result is a truly powerful pop album. The first single from the record is “Good Girl”, written together with Laila Samuels and Alexander Kronlund, who can count Britney Spears’ “Lucky” and ’If U Seek Amy" as well as a number of Robyn tracks amongst his writing credits.
